Reorganization of Huurre Group’s cold store production in Finland

Huurre Group has decided to reorganize its cold store production to an entity serving its customers in a more logical manner. Both internal and external customers will in the future receive all cold store solutions through one centrally managed organization. So far due to historical reasons the cold store production has been divided into “walk-in” cold store production under the management of Huurre Insulation (in Ylöjärvi) and modular cold room production under Porkka Finland Oy (in Hollola).

The new structure will be managed and developed as one strong entity offering the customers  a complete solution range.  It will efficiently utilize all Huurre Group’s distribution channels.  The juridical process will be carried out as an affiliated company merger as Huurre Insulation Oy will merge into Porkka Finland Oy. However, Huurre Insulation will function as an independent profit unit and the production will remain in Ylöjärvi.

The new unit will be lead by Lasse Korpela, director of HoReCaMed division.

These changes will be effective immediately and the fusion is expected to be fulfilled by the end of 2010.
